Ordus is in closed beta, and this policy will evolve as the product does. We'll post changes here rather than notify each visitor individually, except where the change affects data you've already given us — in that case we'll email you directly.
What we collect
Only what you give us directly, through a form on this site:
- Beta waitlist: your email address, and optionally what brought you here.
- Investor, partnership, and lawyer inquiries: your name, email, organisation, and whatever you write in the message field.
We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts on this site.
Why we collect it
To email you when Ordus is available, and to respond to the inquiry you sent us. Nothing else — we don't sell or share this data with third parties for marketing.
Email verification
Waitlist signups use double opt-in: we send a confirmation link before adding you to the list, and we check submitted addresses against a list of known disposable email domains so the waitlist reflects real interest.
Your rights
Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email our privacy contact address (published shortly) and we'll act on it.
Retention
We keep inquiry and waitlist data for as long as it's useful for the purpose you gave it to us — following up with you, or running the beta — and delete it on request.
